Capital, WV. (#6 in WV.'s Class 3A) is 9-3 and playing in the Class 3A state semi-finals this week vs. Spring Valley. One of their three losses came to JC, 23-6.
West Virginia only has 3 classes. WV.'s 3A has the same enrollment numbers like Kentucky's 5A & 6A classes.

A senior laden Belfry team (who has won three straight 3A state titles) made big plays when they needed to on Off., Def. and Sp. Teams. JC fumbled near the Belfry goal line, had a pass intercepted in the Belfry end zone and had two turnover on downs. Loosing to a team like Belfry 16-21 with all the mistakes JC had tells me that we can hang with anybody.
