I think fourth quarter play is going to be the major deciding factor in this game, and that makes me nervous for Paintsville but only if they enter the fourth with a lead. Paintsville is notorious for giving up on teams when they think the game is sealed. Raceland can beat Paintsville but it will have to be through momentum. From what I saw in the last matchup, the rams have very little chance at establishing a run game against the tigers, but threw the ball very convincingly late in the game. If Paintsville comes in and plays the way they have been playing, and don’t let up, this game is 100% in Paintsville favor. Both teams come into this game with a chip on their shoulders; Raceland is out for a win against Paintsville after consecutive regular season and post season losses, and Paintsville is playing for their shot at making it over the semi final game for the first time in decades. Between this game and the Pikeville/Hazard matchup, we have two of the best games in the state right here in the mountains on Friday. I just wish I could attend both.
