They always have some talent. I would guess that going to the state finals 2 years in a row and winning it this year might bring out more athletes/players. Wondering if their numbers are usually about where they are now. A friend of mine said they have had more talent on many teams than they have had lately. That could be a huge advantage for them in 4A if there is more talent walking those halls that decides to come out.

The number of wins the past three years have helped out in the elementary and Jr high numbers, but the leanness of the 2020, 2021 classes will affect us unless those guys in study hall decides to come out. Every school has those kids hidden in class, but that is another thing Doug Preston does, he is always looking for those kids that hasn’t been out. A State title will help him in the swaying process. I fully expect FS to be in the finals again this year, but it gets lean after this year, if everything stays as it is for a few years.
