The way to fix the cross bracketing problem isn't to put this ugly patch over it. The khsaa needs to admit that they made a mistake and do away with cross bracketing THIS season. That's the fix.

Cross bracketing ends after this year and reseeding is only scheduled for this season from what I've read. Maybe it was put into effect since the cross bracketing fiasco?! To help fix it?

I don't like it either. But it certainly allows teams that have been scheduled to be on the road for two straight years (and maybe the third) a chance to actually earn home field.
