If they did it THIS season I agree, then we would host the semistate (I think, since Central did last season) and therefore not have two straight years of travel.

Why not contact the KHSAA and make that happen? 😜

The article says that they are going to "start" seeding the semi finals. That means it's not just one year. If it were one year it would read something like "khsaa to seed semi finals in 2018". If they do it it will be for the long haul. In the grand scheme of thing Boyle would have to go on the road one more time than they should have too. If the seeding goes through them multiple teams will have to go on the road indefinitely. Nobody will really care that much about those teams though. They don't have coaches who have Julian Tackett's ear like Chuck Smith does.

As far as calling the khsaa goes, it sounds like most of the state already is. I'm sure if hundreds of AD's and coaches won't change anybody's mind, then a big mouthed fan won't either.
