I think doing this will cost schools more money in travel . Take 1A Raceland who plays 4A Ashland and greenup , the only 1A schools they play are district games for more than one reason 1 it’s good competition that helps them in the playoffs next is those teams are local . Will greenup and Ashland continue to schedule a 1A school and chance getting beat and getting a black eye with the polls ? Probably not so now Raceland will have find games else where , already having to travel to somerset this year . And everyone knows the east really don’t get much respect from the polls or the people controling them . Bad idea IMO

Bingo. Everyone is going to schedule to help SOS and this puts teams further behind the 8 ball. And since the power rankings take margin of victory into account there are going to be teams run up the score every chance they get. The running clock may make some go into a 2 minute offense to put up more points.
