This is a good time for John Edge to leave. South Spencer needed a new look in their program. They have had success a long ago. The in past 6 years it hasn't been good. The School has opened up some teaching postions for Edge to bring in people he wants. That's more then Owensboro Catholic has done for Edge. There were years he didn't have a coach in the building and nothing but Paraprofessionals who missed alot.
In the End, Edge made Owensboro Catholic better. He helped provide them a Stadium with family help. New Weightroom. Got Booster club back from the past. I think he left it in really good shape for the next coach.
