With Breathitt dropping to 2A, they will have a much easier road to the finals. I understand the bobcats have been down for the past four or five years, but things are looking up in the future. The Lumberjack/feeder program has been running well for the past four years and the bobcat program will see a major turn around in about three or four years when these kids are sophomores and juniors. Also, Prestonsburg seems to be on the decline and Leslie County seems to be an average team, year in and year out. So, making it to a regional championship, and state semi final shouldn't be out of reach. I personally would rather play Prestonsburg than Corbin in the regional final, and I would much rather play Beechwood in the state semi final, than Belfry.
