This may be true but I still stand by what I said. Winning a trophy is nice but if you are only winning because the team that you couldn't beat left can you honestly say that you were the best?

If you win your class, then you can say you're the best in that class. So, yeah. That's a pretty weak argument. If you beat everyone you have to beat, you're the best. If you don't, you aren't.
