I don’t see how someone saying that they thought Corbin had a great staff was a direct attack on Boyle county. Had you’re original statement said Boyle has the best staff in the state then I wouldn’t have replied to it. You directly attacked Corbin though, I’m gonna reply if you do that. You don’t have to agree with me, but I’m gonna speak my mind about it.

I will lay out my case if you’d like. I feel like both Boyle county and Corbin have hall of fame caliber coaching staffs/head coaches. The reason if rather have ours is that Chuck Smith is 60 and Justin Haddix is 35ish. I think Haddix will stay here for a very long time. So while in 2017 it was may have been better to have Chuck Smith based on the championship game. I think the next 25+ years will swing Corbin’s way because Smith will retire sooner rather than later. I’d say another decade is the limit for smith’s career. I do think Haddix will get him a few times before he retires too. That’s in no way saying that smith has lost a step or anything like that. I think he is still at the top of his game, which is at the top of the state, but time waits for nobody.

Better to have him in 2018, 2019 and 2020. Probably even after that if he keeps coaching. Hounds had some incredibly gifted kids and what I loved most is their fight all game and NEVER gave up. Kids were refuse to lose mentality and loved it! MUCH respect for Corbin, hung out with Corbin fans pre game and had a great time!! That being said, Chuck Smith is just on a different level but has been doing it for a very long time. Coach Haddix has done a phenomenal job!! He's young and given Corbin hope. That being said please don't pretend your next 25 years will swing your way. Thats a very long tine, and I mean no disrespect by saying this but an absolutely ridiculous comment. Again no disrespect I promise. You can ask hound05 who I hung out with before state game and had a blast with them.
