Harlan County @ Tates Creek 08/31/18

Malcolm Ex Wrote:Most 6A teams in this area have about 70 players. Douglass and Scott Co have much more. Lafayette is probably above that too. Station, Tates Creek, and Dunbar have below that. Winning gets numbers, simple as that.

As for Tates Creek, the new head coach is also the defensive coordinator and they have given up 98 points in their first two games. I think this is a big game for him in the new job.

Tates Creek won district, beat all the other city teams besides FD and finished 9 and 3 last year. They will probably dress in the low to mid 40's this week.

Against FD last week they turned the ball over to FD 5 times inside their own 25-30 yard line (2 times inside the 10 yd line) in the 1st half.....2 fumbles and 3 botched snaps on punts. FD was a far better team but it's really hard to be even close to competitive when that happens. If they clean all that up and get healthy they should be ok for the rest of the season.
