What about the 3 or 4 championships in a row, mostly over Belfry, multiple D1 players, etc..? Overrated is not a term I'd use for Central. The are what they are, a smaller school in Louisville that has massive physical talent for their class and, IMO, slightly under par a the head coaching level at the moment. That may just be this new guy needed the experience of close games, late. Maybe guys like myself who saw them just rip through Belfry overrated them. But I only thought they'd beat Corbin last year by a touchdown, maybe. And the game was down to the wire with Central having that late charge and coach making crucial bad decisions especially clock-wise, late. I don't know if Haddix got a little too conservative at the end, partially, or if Central finally just woke up and started taking advantage of a couple of matchups...Maybe a slight bit of both. Ballard played Boyle and turned the ball over 5 times in the first half, then they actually started playing well. Boyle is VERY good, but if Ballard didn't give them the ball so many times that game was going to be close. IMO, no one in 3A can go into Central and feel like, this is going to be an easy win.

Did you watch the Ballard Boyle game? The Bruins got all their yards in the FIRST half. Second half thy registered about 30 yards of offense.

As to the turnovers there were four interceptions and two were the result of incredible defensive plays.
