Thats what I said about greenup coming into the season and got laughed at bc I said Halstead wasnt enough to take pressure off of a pocket passing QB no matter how good he was. Yea, Halstead was a thousand yard rusher last year and likely will be this year as well. But the rushing totals stop right there. Look at the areas consistently successful programs. Raceland, Ashland, and Johnson Central always have multiple backs, atleast 2, to share the work load and most of the time the QB is also atleast capable if being a threat to run. Conaistently, these programs produce a 1000+ yd rusher, a 300-500 yard rusher, and or a QB that puts up 200-300 yards on the ground each year. Thats balance and you dont need to have a verticle passing game that is very dynamic, just enougg to keep teams honest.

On the defensive side of the ball, Greenup has a similar issue. No balance. They either load it up to stop the run or drop it all back to defend the pass. If you cant atleast get some pressure and contain a run game with your front 7, your sqrewed against a balanced team.
