Game was tied with about 1:40 left and Wolfe hit a 3. Owsley had several trips where the ball rolled off the rim and Wolfe basically went into a stall until Owsley was forced to foul and Wolfe hit their free throws in the last minute to extend the lead. Final score is not indicative of how closely contested game it was. The major difference maker for Wolfe is they hit 7 or 8 three pointers to Owsley’s two.
Wolfe has a good team though, as their 13-4 record shows. Both these teams are good but the Wolves simply finished stronger in the last 90 seconds of the game.
