WILDCAT NATION Wrote:Pikeville, Hazard, Raceland, and Paintsville have to LOVE the new alignment as they will be the 4 in the east for the next 4 years. One (or 2) of these teams will be in the title game every year. Unfortunately for Raceland and the others it looks like Pikeville is going to be the team to beat for the foreseeable future. The good news is Raceland’s strength of schedule should keep them out of Pikeville in the playoffs.

I’m sure these teams dislike the new playoff setup. These 4 teams will battle it out in the 2nd round in the new alignment. If cross district matchups was still involved then they would love it.

This RPI Ranking is going to be a puzzle this year. Who knows how it’s going to rank these teams schedules.
