Chase Crone, a freshman, yes. He's solid, but then as a freshman he's likely to be a little more shaky under the pressures of varsity games. But the Neers should be sitting pretty in the quarterback department in coming years.

He was 7-10 passing last week for 50 yards, and rushed 22 times for 67 yards. They only passed 12 times in the game, so I'm not sure if the relative lack of passing is a product of a QB with less of an arm, or a product of not having receivers to throw to.
