The team in question is listed on JC's schedule on the KHSAA scoreboard.... one would think if the KHSAA didn't recognize them as an actual team, then the official scoreboard schedule wouldn't have them listed.


Even though both guys have the initials of JT.... Julian Tackett & Jack Tunney..... I see Mr. Tackett doing what Mr. Tunney did way back when. If the team in question wasn't legit, I really don't believe they would be on the KHSAA scoreboard schedule.

Up until the start of this week it was listed as Sycamore from Cincinnati.

Sycamore in Cincy is a legit school.

It is now listed as Bishop Sycamore at least on KHSAA. But technically this school is going by Youthbuild now so who knows.

I would hope the KHSAA would do their due diligence, as well as the JC administration if there is any gray area, but if the KHSAA is only finding out who JC is really playing this week they may want to double check to be sure.

What supersedes everything should be insurance liability. If I am JC I am making the KHSAA put something in writing ASAP to prove that if there was any injury that insurance will for sure cover any expenses. The athlete and their families safety and financial well being should take all precedence.

Secondarily, if I am JC I am also making sure the KHSAA puts in writing that this game will definitely count toward RPI rankings.
