Just wasnât our night tonight. Had a GREAT opening drive, but those early turnovers absolutely killed momentum. Our young Cats will be better, I just hope they stay focused and committed to this team. We are playing a huge amount of players with no previous HS Varsity experience, BUT theyâre gaining it and will be the Blackcats of old sooner rather than later.
Weâve got to support this young coach we have, Brandon Brewer. Heâs doing things the RIGHT way! Heâs teaching them a ton and is wise to give them all a shot to play and prove what theyâve got.
Hats off to Floyd Central for being the more physical team tonight. Good luck in district play.
