This is info I hadn't seen on KHSAA. I'm actually glad they are doing this. It will encourage teams in the future not to schedule as many lower class teams. However, now the complaint about out of state teams is more real.

The game value factor is based on the class of the team being played for each calculation and is only relevant to instate games.
• This weighting is based on a 15% difference for the game value as class sizes become larger.
• Those game value factors are:
o 1A = 1.323
o 2A = 1.521
o 3A = 1.749
o 4A = 2.011
o 5A = 2.313
o 6A = 2.660
