No they added it because the big Louisville teams didn’t have a RPI number higher than a 1A School. So what they have done now is make it harder for 1A schools to schedule games. Why would any higher class school want to play a good 1A team that might beat them when you can play a weaker higher class team that you pretty well know you can beat. You get a higher factor number by 15% each class you go up. What they did made it worse if you could think that’s possible

I see your point Patriot. I can tell you that Johnson Central wouldn’t have the first problem getting a series together with Pikeville despite the fact that it would benefit us more to play up. We just need games at this point and a close game with another mountain school would be a added bonus. Pikeville would benefit greatly in the RPI with a win over Johnson Central.
