On a more serious note, every second half drive was contained by holding calls, a missed fumble that would have given a 1st and 10 for Corbin at the goal line that was called a incomplete pass, it wasn’t close in my opinion but that was the call, other than that Corbin looks much improved and getting better, score easily could and should have been in the 40s for Corbin. The defense was really strong all night even without our big defensive end number 25 as well, offense fumbled in Lafayette’s red zone and defense held all 4 downs, big time stops. Our defense looked nice giving up one big pass play Lafayette has a defensive player that deserves all the credit for being elite, he wears number 99, one of the best I have watched play the game at the high school level. Overall good win and can’t wait to see the Knox matchup.
