Looking at high school stats: Lafayette is ranked the 3rd worse offensive team in 6A and the 5th worse defensive team in 6A. Good win, but should’ve won.

A stat sometimes doesn’t tell the real story, from what I saw, Lafayette plays some top rated teams you think, Johnson Central, Fredrick Douglas and Corbin and Scott County, now the way I see it, let Middlesboro, Knox Central, Harlan, Whitley, North Laurel, Etc, a lot of teams play the same schedule that Lafayette has played and yeah, there stats will look like there is none, sorta like Clay County having a heck of a year but when they played Johnson Central, there stats shot to zero real quick, on the other hand, let Lafayette play some of the schedules I see some playing and they very well could be better stats and records. There no joke of a team either, they played hard. I’ll take the win anytime, I saw game film where Lafayette’s big 99 was also tearing up the Fredrick Douglas big recruits but yet the stats don’t show it. Film don’t lie either.
