Really not a big step up. Yes, KCD is better than those teams, but theyâre nothing special. Berea killed them selves in the 2nd half, and looked to have just gave up after they went down 22-7 in the 3rd. Thatâs just my opinion. I was on the sideline. No emotion, no fire. First taste of defeat this year. Honestly believe if these two played 10 times, it would be about even. Hopefully they use this as motivation the rest of the way.
As for the polls. Lex Herald AP and the Commonwealth Journal both have KCD at #2. Thatâs not RPI. The top 5 Class A teams in EKY would probably put a running clock on KCD. Pikeville, Paintsville, Raceland, Hazard and Williamsburg would smoke them. Not sure what these voters are seeing.
