A bully that defaults on his debts cannot borrow money. The Roman Empire crumbled, in part, because its citizens grew too fat and lazy to support themselves and then inflated its currency to pay its debts. I am pretty sure that if the Roman Empire was not too big to fail from engaging in foolish fiscal policies, then the United States of America is also not immune to the basic laws of economics.

The simple fact is that government is a consumer of wealth, not a creator of wealth. If government suppresses economic activity by forcing businesses to close, then there is no economy to be stimulated. The last thing in the world that I want to see is an idiot like Joe Biden in the White House. Biden was an imbecile before he compounded his problems with senility. However, nobody should fool themselves into believing that this so-called "stimulus" is anything other than a desperate, bipartisan effort to protect as many incumbent politicians as possible.

:biglmao: You just trashed any stimulus and then blamed it on the only guy who has no power in this scenario. You may not like Biden, but he has absolutely nothing to do with the mess we are in now. I think they call that displaced aggression.

If the stimulus doesn't go to Americans this time instead of corporations there may be millions of bankruptcies by this time next year. I doubt the economy can stand that.
