So my son has a VICIS helmet we paid through the nose for 1.5 years ago. Love the helmet but when I went to look at reconditioning today I found out they have closed the doors. Doesn't seem to be product related but more mis-management of funds. Apparently a PE firm has acquired them. There is a link to an alternate vendor in California that will recondition but I am not sure I trust that process. I started looking at other helmets and the new Riddell Speedflex Diamond seems to be packed with technology. Has anyone else bought one for their kid or know of a team who uses them?
