I would fully support privatization of the USPS. I would end its monopoly on the use of mailboxes and I would end all federal subsidies for the organization. In addition, I would support changes in laws that require many legal documents to be sent via the mail. If the USPS can compete on an equal footing with Fed Ex and UPS, then that would be great. If not, then I am sure that Fed Ex, UPS, and other private companies would expand to fill the vacuum that a defunct USPS would create.
