Democrats destroyed millions of jobs during the pandemic to help "win" the election. Assuming that Biden's tax hikes do not cripple the economy further before it recovers, simply eliminating lockdown orders in the blue states will cause the GDP to rebound strongly. Then, Democrats will take credit for a recovery that was made possible by the recession that they deliberately made worse. 

I predict that the Democrats' GDP projections for Biden's first year in office will fall well short of their rosy scenarios because they fundamentally do not understand what causes capitalism to create wealth and socialism to create misery.

They understand, they just lie to their sheep.

Some do, some are just simply dumbasses who really do believe that every previous attempt to implement socialism and communism failed because it was not correctly done and this time it will work. History repeats itself because most liberals are dumbasses who lie to themselves as well as to each other.
