I believe that being able to issue pardons may be the biggest factor in Trump announcing that he will run again in 2024.
If you actually believe that, then you are as big an idiot where politics are concerned as the Welfare King is. Do you care to share what the basis for your belief is? Surely there must be some evidence to support your theory.

Does it ever occur to you that Democrats have spent millions of dollars investigating Trump and his family and have been unable to indict him for any crimes? Not one. Do you really think that investigating Trump is the best use of the government's money?

Maybe that money would be better spent investigating Democrat mayors and governors who routinely release dangerous felons onto American streets. Or maybe, some of that money should be spent investigating the crimes alleged in documents contained on Hunter Biden's laptop. Or do you only approve of partisan witch hunts that may uncover a crime that will boost Democrat criminals' political prospects?
The following come to mind after reading your response.

So it appears that you are saying that crimes that are expensive to investigate should hot be dealt with.  Did it not occur to you that Trump and his cohorts will owe much more in back taxes and penalties than what it cost to investigate their crimes?

What his followers are failing to realize is that most companies go to great lengths to make sure that taxers are paid on all fringe type benefits and it is against the law not to report them.

If Hunter Biden needs to be investigated and charged, then I'm all for it, but that has nothing to do with what the Trump Organization has done.

I also find it very enlightening that no one at Trump is claiming that they did not commit these crimes, but are complaining that they are being punished due to politics.
I find it very enlightening to read a post in which a socialist defends spending unlimited tax dollars pursuing a political opponent for a crime that has never been described. Using your logic, it would be perfectly legitimate for state governments across the country to blanket the streets of New York and Florida with surveillance cameras in the hopes of catching Trump jaywalking. The truth is Donald Trump and his organizations are being subjected to unprecedented scrutiny because the Democrat Party is seeking to ensure that he is not a viable presidential candidate in 2024. This is being done for the same reason that Trump was impeached with no incriminating evidence twice and it is why the Obama administration concocted the Russian collusion hoax based on the fabricated Steele dossier before Trump was even sworn into office. The Democrat Party is a criminal organization.

The fact that Trump's CFO is being charged with a crime for something that is normally treated as a civil offense and punished with fines, payment of back taxes, and interest thereon, should concern every American who believes in our right of equal protection under the U.S. Constitution. The state of New York clearly is not interested in nailing the Trump CFO, the state's Democrats are on a mission to destroy Trump's political viability at all costs. The New York Attorney General campaigned on a promise to send Trump to prison.

As for Hunter Biden, if you were not a partisan Democrat hack, then you would be advocating the full investigation of Hunter Biden and his allegation that he split his income over a 30-year period with his father, the President of the United States of America. The allegation, if true, would likely constitute treason. So, if millions of dollars spent investigating Trump in a mission to destroy his political viability is okay with you, then why are you not even minimally knowledgeable about Hunter Biden's crimes and allegations involving President Biden? It seems obvious that if true, the allegations against the Biden family are potentially far more dangerous to this country than anything that a former president is doing.
Quooter you support a CROOK it's that simple just look at how many around him has been in jail, convicted of crimes. and he has pardon. We have never had a Ex President that has surrounded himself with so many CROOKS.
