[belfry forever]

My brother was having problems breathing several nights ago and was treated at our local ER (where I work). After reviewing the chest x-ray and CT scan, the doctor found that my brother has fluid around his heart, and a tumor in his lung and several in his liver. He is scheduled for surgery in the morning to remove the fluid and if that goes well, they will biopsy the tumor. We are all devastated and the "nurse" in me knows the outlook isn't good. I am trying to be strong for my parents (we just buried my uncle yesterday), but I am having such a hard time. Please pray for my brother and my entire family. BTW, my brother is 48 (I'm 39), and suddenly last month after smoking since he was 16, decided to quit because he "couldn't breathe", so for all those that smoke, please remember that your health affects everyone who cares about you!
