It is sooo cool to parade your team around. Driving out of your way, when it just so happens, to be through the hometown of the team you just defeated is "TACKY". I do not believe SC's coach grew up in the city of "Paintsville". His "school" was located inside the city limits, but that's another thread.
I am not gonna say anything that would detract from SC's accomplishment because THIS MUST BE ABOUT THE KIDS, THEY PLAYED THE GAME AND THEY MADE THE DIFFERENCE. That parade should have been geared towards their hometown and the fans who live therein. Those are the people who wanted to see them & cheer them along with pride, but if the coach felt it was important to keep them waiting by doing what he did, then there you go....
I've been in every car parade for our teams and we never did such a thing frankly, we just wanted to get home and share it with everyone who didn't get to see the game.
I'm just gonna consider the source and move on.
