Kentucky Season Outlook (Week by Week)

Our defense is, I think, legitimately good, but we will really be tested by Kiffin’s prolific offense. And even if we do a decent job of limiting their points, can our offense, which showed some signs of life against a lesser opponent Saturday, produce enough for an upset? If we could pull it off, (and I think we have a better chance here than we do at Tennessee or Texas later on) we’d be 3-2, exactly where most thought we would be after five games, just with a surprising path to get there.

One thing I took from Saturday’s game was the horrendous clock management at the end of the first half that ended with us not even getting a field goal try off before the half ran out (and we’ve got a superb place kicker).  Context matters, of course, so in this spot it sort of got brushed aside, but what if the same scenario had played out with exactly the same outcome at the end of the Georgia game when we were down 13–12? People would be losing their freaking minds, and rightfully so.
Dang VH I wish I could believe we have a shot. Agree with clock management though. UK consistently has epic fail in Clock Management 101. Makes me furious that all the fans know how to manage the clock better than the staff time and time again.
Anyone can question game plan, play call etc but everyone in the stands and on the tv and radio knows when they screw up the clock lol
