Woodfords receivers were a little quicker than highlands in my opinion. Regardless it’s easily the crutch of PCs defense, probably for both teams. Highlands is well rounded everywhere else.

I can easily see highlands being favored 4 scores at home or at Pulaski. PC has been underdogs in 4+ games this year and made a game out of every one of them. Biggest loss was 2 scores against Corbin, and that was without starting quarterback. 

I expect PC to come out swinging and make highlands earn it. Should be one of the better 5A games this week, hopefully.

Woodford receivers might be quicker but if you go and watch that game on utube you will see highlands WRs are tall and have great hands, #14 and #7 do not drop passes! And Highlands QB is a ton more accurate than Woodford’s giving WRs more opportunities. Woodford had no answer to Highlands passing game! They did do well slowing the running game until they brought in Big QB Lorenzen to run the ball.

You also have to throw Lorenzen in at tightend, he is huge with very good hands and tough matchup
