It is not possible to be intelligent and atheist. Unlimited galaxies and millions of forms of life (plant, animal, and human) cannot magically appear from total nothingness. Atheists may be good at other things, but they are still the dumbest smart people on Earth - which wasn't formed when there was nothing and then it exploded.

I disagree, but I can't think of another atheist besides Hitchens, who was alive during my lifetime that I considered to be a great thinker. Although he was an atheist, Hitchens recognized that Christianity has been a net positive on civilization, and he consistently ridiculed Muslim jihadists.

In general, I can respect agnostics who acknowledge the possibility that God exists, but still lack the faith that He definitely exists. Atheists are generally the most closed-minded people on the planet, but believe themselves to be the smartest, funniest, and most moral people in the world. We see a good example of that truth everyday.
