The fans that saw a small glimpse of hope,  instantly back to doubt.

Injury prone,  that's what I was really worried about with AD going to Dallas in this trade, and it took no time.  Hopefully AD gets and is able to maintain health. The trade was tough enough,  this doesn't help at all.

Dallas fans are already calling for the majority owners to sell the team.  The gm is being called upon to resign and receiving death threats.

I kinda feel like AD is unfairly being looked at as a bad guy because of this trade.  Hey,  there was nothing he could do about it.

Many conspiracy theories out there about this trade.  Involving moving the Mavericks to Las Vegas,  where the majority owners are from.  It's on record,  LeBron saying he'd like to own a nba team in Las Vegas one day.  That's just one theory and I just barely touched on it.  I'd have to type a encyclopedia pretty much to cover everything out there that's being said about this trade lol

I'm not saying that I can't see how there'd be a connection between a new owner and a city that they have more ties to which also has a market for a team, but it's kind of out there to see a way that the NBA lets a team walk out of the fourth largest media market in the US and into a city that is in the 40's.

New Orleans, Sacramento, Charlotte, Orlando, Detroit, Portland, Indiana, Milwaukee, San Antonio, Memphis, Utah, and Oklahoma City would all be far ahead of Dallas on the list of NBA franchises that another city would try to poach. Other than teams with more or just as attractive markets and more tradition (read: Lakers, Celtics, Bulls, Knicks), there aren't many franchises where relocation would be a tougher sell.

Know that they don't have the tradition, but in terms of the demographics of their population base and their home attendance over the past decade, the Mavericks have a lot going for them.
Yeah,  I don't think moving the Mavericks to Vegas would be a good move.  Especially with Dallas having the 4th largest market.  I did like it better when Cuban was majority owner.  LeBron might have to team with Tom Brady,  if he wants ownership of a team in Vegas, the Raiders lol
