You know, this is an interesting take, and I think I would take it for sure. We will be favored over LSU and in our first NCAA game, otherwise we may not be favored again this season. If we wind up as a nine seed in the SEC we would be favored over South Carolina in the 9/16 game. But then we would have a tossup game with probably Miss. St. or Vandy. If we wind up 8th we get a tossup game. Either way, if you win the next game in your path is Auburn. Ouch.

I think now we are looking at a four seed at best, maybe even a five, which means we will be favored in our NCAA opener, maybe not in the round of 32 if the seeds hold up. And as a four or five, you would get the one seed in your region in the round of 16 barring upsets before then. Of course if you’ve made it that far, you start dreaming about an unexpected run, which I think most of us would be doing if we get that far.
