That’s probably why Meehan came back. He didn’t want his last game to be an underdog loss to Wolfe county and I’m pretty sure they started all freshman. Lol! I would have come back to. Lol
And I believe Hazard was very senior heavy that year with players who had won multiple region championships. Hazard was heavily favored to win it that year.


It helped Wolfe beat us when Wolfes catcher hit a BOMB to beat us that year.
Out-coached and out-classed that night. 5-1 was final score. Catcher homerun wasn’t the only reason. It definitely gave Letcher an easy game in the semifinals because Wolfe seemed drained after beating hazard. Wolfe should be the favorite this year I would think!
