Bases Loaded with 2 outs for a trip to the State Final 4, and you strike out looking at a ball that far outside. That is a terrible way to end the game, and it's not even close. I get it, if it's just off the plate, but wow. That is a bad look on someone calling in a big game here. This is a regular-season miss. If you are calling in the state tournament, you can't be that bad. And I get the, you gotta protect with 2 strikes, but not when it is that bad.

So he goes from not being selected to do the 15th region championship game but he’s representing the 15th at the State Tournament. The whole process is a joke. They’re not selected based on their ability. They’re selected because it’s their turn. It’s like this in every sport in a lot of different regions especially in the 15th. Don’t hold your breath because nothing will be done. It sounds like the entire tournament is filled with it’s my turn officials.

Did anyone see the Spencer County and JC game? The home plate umpire shrunk his strike zone after the 2nd inning and at one point lost track of count on a batter and gave him another chance when he struck out.Then he threw the coach out when he complained about it. Even the media covering the game was talking about how bad the entire crew was. Do you know what his punishment was? After that game he also worked the Trinity/Taylor game and the Spencer County/PRP game. There’s no accountability at all with bad officials but yet everyone else should show patience with them.

Well…..fill out the paper work….take the test….and join your local officiating association.   Try your hand at it….whether it be baseball, softball, basketball, football, wrestling…it doesn’t matter.  Get involved.  Yes there are good, average and bad officials….but that goes for everything in life.   So grab a whistle and help “change” things.  I bet you don’t.   Because it’s just easier to bitch.

Well there’s one thing for certain you’re definitely an official because you can spot one a mile a way with this typical response. I guarantee I’m more involved with high school sports than you’ll ever be and if I stunk at my job like your thin skinned buddies I would be fired instead of getting my turn to advance to the state tournament. You see Josey on my side of the thing we have to earn our trip we don’t get to go to the finals because it’s our turn this year or next.

And another thing Josey before you let on like I’m throwing shade at all the officials I’m not. I thought the 15th region championship game was the best called game of the tournament and guess what none of those guys advanced to call the state tournament because it’s all ready predetermined whose going to go because it’s their turn. Our region and every region should send their best in every sport not just because it’s their turn. It should be based on their ability alone.
