Pikeville skill is really good. Questions are if they can run and stop the run, can QB find those weapons against a defense, and can the Panthers stay healthy? They could be really good or they could have some big problems.

I think Hazard takes a step forward. Not sure about their QB situation but GJ is a player. Line seems to have gotten an upgrade from across town. I think they are a threat to upset someone. Don’t think they can win it this year but may knock off someone who could.

Raceland got almost everyone back and has to be the favorite. Only thing that could derail that is internal jealousy or stat chasers because they have plenty of mouths to feed and sometimes parents/kids can’t help themselves.

Is Paris any good or not? Who knows?

Sayre should be down from last year but coming off a title, do they get some kids from surrounding schools in Lexington and reload? They have a proven staff and fun style so very possible they may be back in it.

Campbellsville should be in semis and have 3 legit weapons in QB, RB, and WR. WR is horribly under the radar. Their chances drop fairly steeply after this senior class graduates.

KCD got it all back as well. Can they run it all the way to a state title?

Louisville Holy Cross, heard some rumblings they may be good. Not sure what Ludlow, Newport, and NCC bring back. I know next to nothing about the far west of 1A.
