Apple Bowl Predictions and bets: Johnson Central @ Paintsville
#28
Old School Wrote:Over the past two years JC has had a big advantage on the number of players, but historically JC has averaged 30 to 35 players about the same as P'ville with both schools using 14 or 15 players each game.
Here's a question if a 3A or 4A school has about the same number of players and play about the same number of kids as a 2A or 1A school Do they have a advantage over a smaller school just because they have a higher enrollment.
How many of those kids focused on just football though? Schools that are big 3As or 4As have an advantage IMO. Since there are so many kids, then that means that the football players focus on football only, the basketball focuses on basketball only, and so on. Most of the kids at Paintsville play at least 2 sports and have to divide their time up to choose what they want to get better at. So yes there is somewhat of an advantage. No matter how many players on a team that there are. There is a reason that football is separated into classes.
