Apple Bowl Predictions and bets: Johnson Central @ Paintsville
#72
PHSCARD Wrote:To be honest with you there, my older brother was on the JC sidelines at the time as a police officer and he did mention something about Matney saying that he wanted to put it on them, not sure exactly what was said or when it was said during the game, probably the start, because its been a while ago. But I do remember seeing parents, grandparents, toddlers, people rolled out on the field in hospital beds, the whole 9 yards, out on the field after beating them at Paintsville back in 2004, acting like they won the Super Bowl. Students are ok, but when you bring out 5-6 generations of your family to celebrate beating the 4th smallest class A school in the state with a football program, is a little excessive. I just can't wait until this week is over, so all of Johnson Co. can get back to normal, and everyone supporting one another on their District Title ambitions.

Its funny when Paintsville wins over Johnson Central you never hear about the enrollment of Paintsville but then JC wins it usually one of the first excuses you hear. Why would I take your word on the running up the score issue either? You and ole PC_U_KNOW_98 are thick as soup. You like PC 98 have been spreading the blue tinted gospel for years on the other site. Am I correct Blackcat or was it Mongoose? No wait it was both. You can say that it was the super bowl and stretch the truth about 5-6 generations being on the field all you want but we both no that game was the turning point of this Apple Bowl rivalry as we know it today. That game marked the beginning of what I believe will be absolute dominance in this rivalry and there’s nothing that the tigers can do about it. The proof is in the pudding. Good night all I'm going to bed. We'll pick this back up tomorrow.
