Apple Bowl Predictions and bets: Johnson Central @ Paintsville
#77
Sitting here in my office and reading all the words being fired from both sides is kind of funny, but interesting. It's good that there is such a rival between the two schools. The competition factor drives both to be a good as they can be. They want to top the other in academics, sports, who's coach is better, who's fan are better, and who's done the best in the past. This is good for both schools, neither will fall and crumble because they lost or won a football game. I hope both teams play hard, compete to their fullest and the game goes without injury. I hope the game is a good one and I hope all the fans get home safe and enjoy the next weeks festival.
I do have to make one comment, did I read (and I don't want to go back and re-read all the verbage) that someone said Paintsville would never beat Johnson Central again? Didn't I read that same headline in the Paintsville Herald in 1994 or 95 from their basketball coach. I believe Paintsville won the next 17 games, and he ended up in Texas or somewhere. I'm not saying Paintsville will win 17 straight football games, I'm just saying never say never.
Good Luck to my Tigers and I hope you play the game with heart and play to win. Good Luck to Johnson Central and as I said earlier, may both teams play with injury. See you all at the game.
