The western side of the state isn't ready for smashmouth football. That being said, Merger Co. might be an exception (as is Corbin).

I guess I HOPE Russell or Belfry can get the job done.

I love this Belfry team. They have 1 big play guy and a lot of heart otherwise. I don't think this years team is as good as last years, but Russell also appears to be slightly down compared to last season.

I don't care who makes it from the East, as long as we make it 5 in a row!

Corbin is not Western IMO. The Western Ky. teams have to be more balanced to win their respective regions, and the eastern Kentucky teams can get away with just being one demintional IMO. When the teams meet in Louisville, the western Ky. teams are not great in one area of defense, but are good at all areas, thus they usually give up alot of yards against a team that has done nothing but run for 15+ weeks.
