I believe TRAIN85 is jealous of Pugh. Say what you want but Pugh put up big numbers against EVERYONE except JC last year. 10 TD's against a tough Evarts team in the playoffs, a VERY tough Lynn Camp team, he even had good numbers against Somerset, a game in which they lost (region championship). Pugh is a damn good football player in all aspects, if he played for JC they would twice as good as they are now. He put up bigger numers in the bigger games (except JC) than what he did against the weak teams last year. Last year Doderer and the runningbacks did most of the work in those games.

And Prowler, take Eagle Eye's post into consideration, if Pugh had a line he would be putting up big numbers again this year. He is not overrated, he just doesn't have much to work with. And that's really something to be betting on, Pugh being lucky to make it through the game without leaving with an injury. Talk about the ankle injury all you want, he still plays on it. Played on it against Fairview and played on it against Prestonsburg. The only way you will see him leave the game is if it's a serious injury or coaches take him out because you will never see that boy give up.

me jealous of some stat driven qb from paintsville? i dont think so! i played with 3 qbs that would put him to shame. and the good thing about qbs is that they were all 3 team players and didnt care about stats. i realize that he is the only player on their team and that in all reality he is probably a good kid and just a product of either school or raising. so i could be wrong about the kids character. but we will find out against jc, pikeville, and hazard.
