Lou. Western traveled over to 6-1 Larue co. Friday night facing what seemed to be their toughest challenge of the seson thus far. Larue was rated in the top 10 scoring teams in 2A and also in the top 10 scoring defenses in 2A.
Western opened up the game in the wishbone and sustained an 18 play scoring drive which consumed most of the first quarter and never looked back.
Western led 33-0 going into the 4th quarter.
Justin Collins (Western) rushed for 230 yards and the other half of the Dynamic duo Ronnie Darden(Western) rushed for 130 yards and had 4 receptions. Qb Brett Norman passed for close to 100 yards with over 400 yards of total offense against a Larue team who's in the top 10 in 2A scoring defenses.
The best offense in 2A rolls again!:Thumbs:
