And it was hard for any one with AA batteries this year to STOP the PLAY of Russell... and to think that a team that should have been playing with AAA batteries would be the STOP at the the end of the SONG and DANCE............. I am over it but this was too good to pass up.

Sounds like you are not "....over it..." by a long shot. The KHSAA would alow the asme thing to happen in any county and it was fair in its handling of this case IMO. Mercer earned the title by beating a very good Russell team. It sounds like instead of being classy losers the Russell followers are being sore-losers and that is unfortunate because they sure took the praise when they won the title, but cannot seem to take bad press well, but thats life and will not change the fact that they were second best this year, and there is nothing wrong with that IMO, it is just high school football!
