As a baseball alum from Pikeville College I am glad to see Mr. Cyrus is going to wear the black and orange and wish him the very best. I hope when he gets his degree that he will have many wonderful memories as I did. I am wanting the best for Pikeville College, but the athletic department must understand that baseball in the Mid-South is serious buisness and they need to exhaust every effort to make sure that they can compete in the conference. The coaches in the conference are very good and recruit very well. I have the upmost respect for the ones at Cumberland and Campbellsville. Pikeville College must make sure that it provides the student with every opportunity to succeed whether it means by finding new leadership or providing the current leadership with assistant coaches who are baseball people. I do believe that Pikeville College should look at the many former players who have been good baseball people and coaches to help in any capacity
