BC won the game fair and square so I don't know what the fight was about???? :o I did see Coty Roberts (23) walk over to the BC boys on the field and apologize for the actions of his team. He was not invovled in the scuffle, he was actually back talking to a couple of the BC coaches when it broke out. As a senior, I am sure that he did not want those boys to walk away thinking that this was LC football, it is not. Not sure what was said, but the majority of the BC team stood up and hugged him. That took a lot of class on that young man.
It was senseless and just takes a couple of boys not knowing how to act. I hate that the Crisp kid got hurt and hope that he is OK.
With the exception of the fight, it was a good game and up until the end of the third quarter, the win was up for grabs. It was a closer game that the score implied and both teams fought hard. The LC team had a lot of talent in their seniors and they did not deserve to go out like that. I predict that the program will undergo some changes and hopefully we will get our football program back that we love in Lawrence County. Congrats BC. Since they are not playing at GC , they should win out. They are the better team.
