HHS: 35
CCH: 21
I think this will be one heck of a game. After a shaky start to the season, CCH has improved vastly, and with their star running back, back in the backfied (that was an awkward phrase) they should have a much more effective game than the earlier match. Hanging tough with a very talented St. X and avenging an earlier season trouncing by Dixie Heights are a testament to their growth.
That being said, Highlands has proven to be an extremely solid team from the beginning of the season to present, growing more and more dangerous with each passing game. Some say it's harder to beat a team twice in one season, but the earlier game for the Birds was merely an appetizer for this climactic showdown. And with sworn vengeance for last years losses to the Colonels, expect the Bluebirds to pull out all the stops.
This will be an intense rivalry game (one in which all odds are out the window) and I expect CCH to hang strong through most of the game, but I believe the Birds will maintain their discipline, and their heightened conditioning will wear down CCH, allowing the Birds to pull ahead by at least two TD's. This is the game boys in Fort Thomas prepare for their entire football careers, and arguably the toughest obstacle on the road to Louisville!!!! GO BIRDS!!!!
