Well anyone would be a fool to try it on a new Hertz Shelby.... Its the same engine as the regular GT, with just a few bolt ons. (CAI, cat back, and an x-pipe). So nothing is dfferent about the engine itself. It gets most of its 30 extra hp from the exhaust system....

The old shelby was an entirely different engine. High compression, solid lifters, the better heads, cast iron headers, high rise aluminum intake with 715 holley. It was well worth the swap at the time.
