It doesn't take much more than the head coach himself during a parent meeting with the middle school programs telling how he held his sons back and how beneficial it was for them. Take a look at the middle school football programs and the basketball programs, even the girls, to see what they are doing.

PossumBait, it doesn't make it right when the 7th. graders being held back are asked to do so by the coaches and for athletic reasons. Not every school district allows this and deams this as inappropriate and unprofessional behavior. It is one thing for a parent to want to hold their child back, but it is another if the high school coaches are pushing this. By the way, I thought you were all about doing the professional thing when talking about Coach Black? I bet if he was doing this you would be complaining about it and not supporting it.

My point is, how can high school coaches organize and carry out these 7th. graders being held back?
